Q: What kind of experience do you have with SOX?

A: We have been extensively involved in US and European Sarbanes-Oxley Projects for multiple FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 entities. Our Industry experience includes Oil/Gas, Manufacturing, Banking, Insurance, Service and Technology (among others). We have consulted for both management of companies and assisted external Big 4 auditors.

We are also available to consult and provide cost effective resources to assist companies to become compliant with "J-SOX".

We have given seminars on effective internal contriols and have helped companies with US SOX compliance since the law was passed in 2002.

Q: Should I be concerned with the "cost" of SOX compliance?

A: The cost of hiring external consultants to implement Sarbanes Oxley into your organization will be significant. Remember, SOX compliance is not a one time event or project. An assessment of internal controls by management must occur each year as long as your shares are trading on a US or Japanese based exchange. The backup for that assessment must be accumulated and documented. External auditors are required to give an opinion on those controls yearly.

In almost all cases, companies establish budgets for SOX compliance and are disappointed when those budgets are quickly "blown" due to excessive billing from "Big Name" firms. Our overhead is low so we can help you keep those costs down while providing experienced and dependable consultants.

Q: What kind of pre-requisite knowledge do I need to benefit from your In-House SOX Training Sessions?

A: Since SOX is concerned with Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), you should have some basic financial knowledge. However, we will guide you through the material presented to ensure that you understand the impacts SOX has on your company. At the end of each section of training, we will have a Q and A period and will field questions you have in order to ensure you are comfortable with the information presented. We are also available to provide post-training support if needed.
